A card keeps a link to the passage it was made from

Highlight a passage in something you are reading and make a card from it. The card says which section, passage or note it came from, and opens it. When a card keeps failing, you go back to the sentence that taught it.

Edit your cards in a spreadsheet, not one at a time

Browse is a real grid. Cells edit in place, fields become columns you can pin, reorder and resize, and a run of changes commits in one batch. Regex find-and-replace goes across every note and card at once. Paste a block out of a spreadsheet and it expands across the grid instead of landing in one field.

Ask about what you are reading, and the answer comes from your own library

Questions you ask are answered from the note in front of you rather than from the internet, and the answer says which of your own writing it came from. The same AI reads a note and proposes cards from it, and you keep, edit or discard each one before any of them enters a deck. It also marks a written answer against what the passage actually said. That AI lives inside LearnMuse. On Pro an MCP connector puts the same library inside the Claude or ChatGPT app you already use, read-only until you say otherwise.

The question "If the Moon only pulled the water, would there still be two high tides a day?" is answered in two paragraphs that cite the note, saying "As your note explains", above Save to note, Copy and Save prompt, and the line "Answered by Sonnet 5".

Subscribe to a shared deck and get updates

You see what the author changed before you accept it. A typo fix keeps your schedule and your own edits. A rewrite resets that card. A deletion archives it and keeps your history. Anki's shared decks are files: you re-download and lose everything, or you never update.

Publish your decks and your writing at your own address

One switch gives your notes a public address at @handle, and each note is published at its own path beneath it. Reach is per note, so private, unlisted and public sit side by side. Turning the garden off closes the door without unpublishing anything, and you can pull every note back whatever your plan says.
